I just got a laptop and was wondering if there were any manuals or tutorials out there that could help me with keyboarding. I need to learn some new commands for the Internet since the laptop doesn't have the number pad and all those keys around there. I use Jaws with Internet Explorer. Anyone have any ideas?

Um well I'm not sure, but there maybe something in the Jaws manual. I know with Window-Eyes there's a whole list of hotkeys for Laptop Layout. And there's probably that for Jaws: the layout and the hotkey list. But as I'm nto familiar with Jaws, I cant' tell you much more sorry! Hope thsi works out! Caitlin P.S. ANd hope ya get AIM soon! Lol! HAHAHAH

Don't you call me an idiot. And i have dne some research and the Jaws manual doesn't always give you the commands to use on a laptop. And by the way, would you kindly stop being so mean to everyone on here? Most people come on this site to make friends and get to know people. Seems like all you're here for is to get people angry and cause trouble. Well there are plenty of other places where you can do that so if you don't like us, get out or shut up.

there is a laptop setting under the basic options in jaws. this will reconfigure your keyboard to work with laptop keystrokes.
